Melkevoll Bretun has eight various highstandard cabins and a house for rent.
These have amazing views to the mountains, glaciers and the huge waterfalls around us.
All our rentals have modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, livingroom, teracce,
high standard and a good atmosphere.

Large cabin
Our three holiday cottages have been very popular for many years, and are a comfortable option. Be aware we are renovating them inside this winter season, so the updated pictures will be available from April 2024. So expect them even more fresh!
In our big cabins you can find:Three double bedrooms -

bedroom 2 has a bunkbed
bedroom 3 has two single beds. (6 persons) – Possibilities for an extra bed and children’s bed.Shower and WC newly renovated

EKSTRA LARGE CABIN
An extra large cabin; This one has three bedrooms and suits for up to 8-10 people. Possible to borrow children’s bed. In addition to the same facilities as cabin 1-3, this cabin is convenient for people with a handicap, it has a wood-burning stove, a heat pump and a dish washer.
The first 1st floor contains:
Bath / Shower / WC, Kitchen and dining room, lounge, two bedrooms.
2nd floor:
Large bedroom, and a cosy corner with chairs and table with special views.

You can sit on your balcony and enjoy one of the most amazing places in the world. In July sun is behind mountain range in the evening. Short walk to Briksdalsbreen. A lot of tourist buses comes to this glacier, but from Melkevoll you have enough distance to avoid the hectic activity on the main road. Water in the river is very clean. The air is unbelivable fresh. Fill up your lungs. ”

These cabins are very popular with beautiful views from the teracce, and newly renovated with modern bathroom. Couples and small families enjoy this size.

This house is over two floors and was fully renovated in 2020. You find it with top modern kitchen and bathroom, a beautiful livingroom & fireplace.
There is a terrace with view to the glaciers and waterfalls in Oldedalen.
From here you can walk to Briksdal glacier as well as other hikes and glaciers in the Oldedalen area. It is stunning views in all direction, incredible fresh air, sound of rivers and birds outside.
This is a house with a long history, uniqe atmosphere and now top modern with beautiful design after full renovation in 2020.
