MELKEVOLL CAMPING
Melkevoll Bretun has big and small camping areas for those who want to camp with tents, caravan or motorhomes. You can find your own space in nature, where we have arranged small terraces, as well as larger open areas.
Around on our campsite you can find benchens and wooden tables where you can enjoy your meals outdoors. Under you find an overview of our facilities.
News 2025 - book your camping spot!
Most of our spots are for drop-in. Just show up at our campsite and you can choose a nice spot. In the mainseason from mid June to mid August, we do recommend to arrive in the middle of the day to have more spots to choose from.
If you want to pre-book a camping spot, that is also an option for this season 2025.

NB! Be aware that drop-in will still be the main way to camp at our place. If the day you want to come is fully booked in our booking system, it is still plenty of space available on the campsite.
Camping iN BEAUTIFUL NATURE
- what do you find on our campsite?
At Melkevoll Bretun Camping you can just show up and find your place, you do not have to book beforehand. We have big space and capacity, and if you arrive mid-day in the mainseason you are sure to find a good spot. Very seldom we may become full in the evenings i July/August, - but arrival at mid-day you are sure to find a place. We´ll update our info if this change.
Around our campsite we have a nature and culture- path called “Inforama- trail”. It is about 20-45 minutes walk, and you can explore the wild nature around us; the stones, rivers and also virewpoints over Oldedalen, waterfalls and towards glaciers. .
In our kitchen house “Utelada”, we have outdoor grills, fireplace and lot´s of space to sit down and enjoy and share a meal.
Our sauna is very popular, and you can enjoy the a dip in the glacier water outside the sauna.
